The Norwich & District Carers Forum started as a collective voice for Carers in 1993; we are a registered charity and operate as a non-statutory and informal forum for gathering views and opinions about the needs of Carers whom we represent at strategic level to statutory and local authorities, as well as many other partners within the voluntary sector.
We strive to influence decision making and we represent our service users at a variety of meetings, including the Project Advisory Group for Young Carers and the Multi Agency Strategy Steering Group which is a consultative body made up of professional members of voluntary sector organizations and who represent the views and needs of Carers. The Trustees are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting to which anyone is welcome to attend.
